Dr. Tonjua B. Freeman is the Chief Science Officer for Personality Matters, Inc. She is an educator by training with over 25 years of experience in developing science-based curricula, conveying knowledge to diverse communities, and working with students, teachers, and society in general.
A scholar practitioner, Dr. Freeman has conducted mainly qualitative studies in the areas of science and education with many of the studies focusing on culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion. She sought to improve the learning of science for all people at all levels. Some of her strengths include creating and adjusting curricula in order to effectively reach as many people as possible. In other words, she strives to meet people where they are, in support of their learning and development journeys. By measuring the needs in specific areas, she can identify urgencies among diverse audiences. This makes her a valuable thinking and strategic partner for leaders at all levels of the organization.
Dr. Freeman uses her science expertise to partner with technical and business leaders transform their leadership and create inclusive, productive workplaces for all. She specializes in brain-based coaching, and helps leaders feel safe to explore new ways of being and showing up in the organization.
Dr. Freeman has a passion for dispersing knowledge and helping to create healthy environments. She consistently finds time to update herself with the current advancements and technology trends and tries to incorporate them into whatever she does.
